The E-Ceiling Gets Installed
So the magnets worked to install the e-ceiling, and ultimately we will be happy with our end result. But I wanted to share a few things about the installation, in case you read this and decide you want to do this on your own.
First, you need a Scissor Lift to do this job. We got lucky in that one of our members had a contact, and we were donated a lift for a few weeks, and this saved us a lot of money.
Second, if you look at your ceiling, is it flat and without obstruction? If so, then the job is pretty easy. But most likely, there will be problem spots. Before I get into details as to what were the issues, I want you to understand how this works. Imaging that at Christmas Time, you wanted to wrap up something that comes in nice flat box. This is pretty easy to wrap, and in the end, you can make the package have a nice professional look if you want. But imagine that you have something oddly shaped, lets call it a guitar, and that guitar does not come in a box. Imagine how hard that would be to wrap and make it look nice.

Well, if your ceiling has electrical conduit running to your overhead lighting, or gas lines, or large heaters or dehumidifiers hanging, they all get in the way, and make getting all of the rolls of e-ceiling to overlap properly quite difficult.
But with all that said, the end result will be nice. YOu can see some of our work below.
