Starting in the Fall of 2019, the Cincinnati will have its first Dedicated Ice based Curling Club. This is being done following the Warehouse Conversion model first developed by the Columbus Curling Club. But this is not the interesting part of our story
This is being done on a tight budget, the college student ramen noodle diet type of budget, and the hope is to share our methods, and hope that we can help other arena clubs get to dedicated ice when they lack a lot of money
This site represents the story being told by a member of the Building Committee working on this project, and does not reflect the official story as recognized by any curling club. The views expressed in this blog reflect my own personal views, as well as things that I have heard firsthand from other members of the club. They do not reflect the official views of any curling club or curling club board member. This site comes from building the club, not from the perspective of financing that club, keeping in mind that building has everything to do with budget.
